Unto Darkness

Heres another one I've just finished working on. Again, it's a little on the dark side, but all comments welcome

Unto Darkness

Unto darkness
Hear my plea
Please descend
And embrace me

Take my soul
And take my heart
Take me before
I fall apart

Unto darkness
Blackest night
Be friend to me
And take the light

Lay waste to dreams
And swallow hope
Leave me free
Of attempts to cope

Unto darkness
Shadows still
Hear my call
And do my will

Gently lay me
Down to sleep
My life, my pain
Are yours to keep

Unto darkness
Hear my plea
Please descend
And embrace me
