many parts of the world have been severely affected by this winter, however, we have been very lucky in this part of the continent. We have had very nice weather so far.

Winter has been very strange here. We have had freezing rain instead of snow and a lot of trees were broken leaving many people without electricity and heat for many days.
Th snow is expected to return again, and I prefer this to the freezing rain.

Snow has a lot of beauty of its own, and we do have birds that stay here all winter.

At the moment everything is white and fluffy, but soon all that beauty will disappear in the morning traffic.

It is deep winter here at the moment.
It is always nice to warm it up with a hot cup of tea;
this makes looking at the snowflakes a pleasant experience.

Winter has arrived, but it is still quite mild here. We have not had any snow yet, but I am enjoying this weather. It is nice to go for a walk without wearing too many clothes.
