Spring is truly around the corner, but it is still cold here.
Sadly, North American songbirds are rapidly disappearing, due to loss of forests, bright city lights causing the birds to fly into buildings, and climate change. Humans can reverse this problem, but it needs to be done now if we don't want to lose our songbirds altogether.
Some of these lovely birds stay here during the winter. Here is the Blue Jay and the Cardinal.
This is a lovely thread, and yes, some birds do spend the winter here in the snow and the cold.
