you asked about colours here is some information for you:
The purple is a higher healing colour which I was drawn to after I did my Reiki Masters many years ago
Red is the base chakra located at the perineum (what you sit on) all about passion, creativity and grounding, your anchor on the earthly plane. Affects survival issues around your body, housing, money, territory and animal instincts.
Orange is the Sacral chakra all about balance, your centre, meditation and calm. Located between the navel of emotional life;trauma;sexuality, early infant/childhood, parents and parenting, creativity.
Yellow is the Solar Plexus located in the hollow where the lower rib cage forms a 'V' belly button area. This is the place of ego consciousness. How you relate to others without giving away your own power. A mature ego becomes the base of the heart, which trusts and allows the heart to open.
Green chakra is the heart the source of healing and balance in the body. The place of relationships (not co-dependency) Where heaven and earth can meet in us, and where we can really unite with each other. Unconditional love centre.
Blue is the throat chakra the centre of communication and expression. Sometimes holds anger from not expressing one's truth.
Indigo is the third eye or brow chakra a deep purpley-blue expanding consciousness, visions, ideas and ideals, inspiration and higher thinking.
White is the crown chakra located at the top of the head. Associated with pure white light, the unity of all things. Pure god consciousness.
So aks yourself what colour are you drawn to right now this maybe the area you are working on, issues or healing a past hurt.
A few years ago it was blue for me I used to get a lot of sore throats for not speaking my truth and wanting to please others too much. Now I have worked through that and for the last 5 years I am drawn to purple.
