LILONGWE, MALAWI—A baby elephant, called Moses, raised by a human mother for eight months after being separated from his herd in northern Malawi, died from colic and acute diarrhea.

Orphaned calf dies at Jumbo Foundation sanctuary in Malawi just weeks after signs he was recovering
Was looked after by the sanctuary's founder Jenny Webb who slept beside him to make him feel safe
Calf was rescued after being found starving and alone by park rangers after becoming separated from his herd

Praying that little Moses is enjoying himself in the Animal heaven.

I am so sad that little Moses died.

Praying for him to be happy in animal heaven and to have a good time with all his friends. Maybe he can even find his mom.
