Beloved operatic baritone, husband, father, son, and friend Dmitri Hvorostovsky sadly passed away on Wednesday 22 November 2017 at age 55. After a two and a half year battle with brain cancer, he died peacefully, surrounded by his family at a hospice facility near their home in London, UK. He is survived by his wife, Florence Hvorostovsky, and their two children, Maxim (14) and Nina (10); his twin children, Alexandra and Daniel (21), from a previous marriage; and his parents, Alexander and Lyudmila.

I am really sorry to hear that. I never saw him in concert but I saw him on TV quite often. He had a wonderful voice.

Sending prayer to his spirit and to his loved ones.

I am truly sad to hear this news. I saw Dimitri in concert a couple of times. He had a magnificent voice.
