A house cat found in France about a month after wandering from its home in Wisconsin, USA is set to fly business- class home from Paris, France to Newark, New Jersey, Continental Airlines said yesterday.
The cat called Emily escaped from its house in Appleton, Wisconsin, in late September. It wandered over to a distribution centre, eventually ending up on a sea container that landed in Belgium.
Workers at a laminating company in Nancy, France, found the cat, which was wearing ID tags nearly a month after its disappearance.
The cat will make the trip today to a carrying case, most likely escorted by an airline employee.
its menu has yet to be determined, an airline spokeswoman said.
