Hi my dear friends.
Just wanted to let you know how grateful I am that you are a part of my life. You always have helped me in my most difficult times as well as in joyful ones.
I would like you to know that my oldest daughter,Marie-Philippe, who has Tourette Syndrom has been going through major transformations. She will be 15 in a month and she has matured so much over the last year. She told me many times recently that she feels that what she is here to do is help heal our planet. She would like to become a surgeon or as she said it so well herself "A new kind of politican" meaning that she would do all her best to reduce pollution, help families, and find better ways to govern the country! She also told me that she undersood why she had so much hatred toward her sister...and that Eliane (who will be 12 in June) did not deserve that hate. So Marie-Philippe has taken on herself to built a constructive relationship with her sister. Of course, they still argue but ...hey...they are both teenage girls! hahaha
Eliane is doing not too good. She is going through puberty and she feels tired all the time and sometime she feels depressed. But she has a great talent...she write poetry, short stories and has just started writing her first novel!
Tristan is doing great. This kid is loving, funny and so full of energy! He likes to sing and dance.
Martin got a new job he builds helicopters at Bell Helicopter-Textron. I am very proud of him. He had to go back to school for 10 months to get that job.
We also just bought a house together in the suburbs, in Mirabel. (Close to the airport they government decided to shut down some years ago).
I am still working for the TOMA Fondation for Burned Children. You ladies from Toronto may have seen us in Wal-Mart or Candian Tires, raising funds. We also are involved with Fires Departement throughout Ontario. We also work in Quebec...well all actually started here ten years ago!
I still write and have poems published in two anthologies.
Today...I am going to be on TV!!!!
I will be on a TV show at Radio-Canada which is CBC here in Quebec. This show is great. It resembles the show in the US Like Oprah...except there is no audience and it is always the same psychologist who is there every morning. They have a different subject everyday. The TV show is titled "Droit au coeur" whch means "Straight to or from the heart".
I am going to ask him a question about teenage depression. I will be sitting with him and the TV show's host! It will be my first time on TV.
Send me good vibes!
Loving you all
Sylvie
