Divine Ptah, cosmic architect, help us construct our lives according to the laws of the universe.
Grant us the skill to build our endeavors upon firm foundations, so that an ediface of the spirit is made that will be a vessel, worthy of holding a beacon of divine light that may patiently raise from earthly toil.
This invocation may be spoken by anyone who embarks on a building project or indeed any great endeavor, and will ensure that favor of my skillful uncle Ptah or mighty Ra himself. It is well known that although Ra may be heedless and preoccupied, Ptah has never been one to refuse a sincere prayer or plea for aid, for he is by nature kindly and looks well on those who seek to help themselves.
