As bright as the Sun at Noon
Like a gathering of clouds
denying the vision of the stars
tongues of flames roam in my heart
swallowing your beloved image.
Certainties fade into darkness
in blind despair and solitude
I cloak myself in nothingness
silence brushes my soul
Universe sighs through the night
joining me in my desire
for dawn’s revelations
when you will rise again
like a newborn sun
detaching in brightness
from veils of mysteries,
when you will materialize
once again and stay
in perennial bloom
within the depth of my soul
in all of Love’s glory
as bright as the sun at noon.
Love,
Margherita
