47 spam posts today, banned IPs - report to Abuse.net?

Today's spam, or unwanted advertising (is that what it is? Too stupid to make anyone buy anything...):

It reminds me of, long ago, reading descriptions of anti-virus software, one was written by a person who claimed to make a popular virus.. makes you think, hum? Improving anti-spam software business hum??

Amazingly, these, todays - I will find out why some dates are from 2004 and such - are from IPs (internet addresses - yes they are traceable! ) seemingly all over the world! Try this if you like, go to

and type in one of the following IPs in the WHOIS section, about one screen down in the middle, it shows where it is from! OK Sherlock, solve the crime!

I have had to block all of these IPs. I can't handly 47 spams a day! I don't want to block the words viagra, phenofoolassidioditol or whatever, they'll just think they are clever: v1agra and so on, internet cops, put these people UNDER the jail, right now, pleeease?

This is absolutely and incredibly ridiculous.
I guess not all insane people are in a facility that would give them some help.

Probably best to simply not (ever) click any link they put, so I hope Arty the admin didn't goof by showing all the dumbo links!

Last time their IPs were simply listed in a topic like this, and they stopped. There were 8 more, admin told me..

not that bad, actually. They are simply deleted.

Since you asked, Sylvie, maybe we should put the IP at the top of every screen, and I think there's software to even put the city of the IP on the screen, maybe that'll bother them.. they already seem to be bothered by too many - or too few of their try-a-miz(ery)-all or viagras... but hey, it is fun to copy the IP #, go to http://dnsstuff.com and put it in the WHOIS section and see where it's from. We seem to be visited (OK spammed) from, Japan, Kiev, Brazil, Rome, hey! We are important! he he..

I'm really sorry to hear about this problem Teo. I just started a forum for all my web sites so I haven't had any experience yet with this sort of thing and I hope I never do... although that might be kinda nieve..... anyway I have a friend that has helped me with my sites and he runs a forum too, we started getting rude posts like that too at his forum..... I asked him what he did to get rid of them. Here is what he said about it.......

He
probably couldn't block their ip because they just constantly switch
them. His best bet is to probably go into his database and find one of
the bad posts. Then look and see what it says for member id or name for
that post. Then he can go to his user table and find that name and
delete it. This seemed to work for us. Sorry, that probably is all
foreign but it's the only thing I know he could do.

Like you said, the IP it seems they can highjack. If they become a REAL problem, only verified emails will be allowed to post - but so far they just go into a "moderation cue," and then I delete them - but a teo3 reply was in there as well, I "approved" it, about faries, nice!

It's really not a problem, just looked like one for a second, they got me! but no worry.

me the next time your out this way. I believe that what we call UFO's have been around for a long time. I think Ezekiel chapter 1 is an excellent description of God coming to earth in a mother ship with smaller ships that landed and picked up Ezekiel for a ride. Ezekiel's descriptions might make it a little hard for some to see that but if you look at it from a point of view of a man of his time describing a UFO I think then you can get a better grasp of what he is actually seeing. Like he calls the landing gear wings with feet on the bottom that are like calves hoofs, just like the moon lander had. He calls the light's eyes and the faces are people looking out of the windows. I believe that the people that he seen inside are people after we leave these flesh bodies.
