This seems to be in synch with a lot of recent revelations; how in fact the physical world (phenomena) exists in the same time frame as the experience of the spirit (noumina); different and yet indistinguishable in terms of the external manifestation. The physical body is the astral body is the Mental body and the divine body which is void exist both within and without the other three.
That perception of all life facing entropic doom and all matter being "gross physical matter" is the grossest form of illusion, but even at that level the causal plane is at the center of the maelstrom of space junk in all it's bejewelled indifference. Enough junk collects - things heat up and vaporize. Even gross physical matter is pretty amazing stuff. I like the Hubbel telescope for that.
What's going on in the other planes, is subtler and internal processes are often invisible but that doesn't make them have any less influence than the stuff of the four physical senses. But the mind is where the objects are thoughts which are abstract and between the thoughts and beyond all the pysical stuff is a glimpse of the clear white light.
It sometimes becomes difficult to reason our way into knowing what we should be up to. The trick is navigating the physical and spiritual all at once making no distinction. When the physical stuff doesn't matter the spirit takes over and you figure all streams converge at the causal plane where it all began and all ends - and lo and behold - continues. . .
