Tears of joy
I glide upon the sound
of your voice of Love.
During my journey
I know of moments
when joy flows
through my being so lavishly
that it can’t be confined
to my own sphere of perception.
This joy surges from the soul
like an uncontainable source of water
that grows and grows
until it becomes a river
which wrings its sinuous body
in endless longing to merge
with the fullness of the ocean.
And how do I manifest
my joy when its intensity
requires the vastness
of open space,
when it overflows and merges
with infinity?
I burst into tears of joy ...
Then I sigh in the awareness
that every single tear
has its destination.
It’s a little messenger of love
that gently falls into your heart.
