This is absolutely disgusting.

I read about it. Poor 18 months old Darius was shot in the head and then fed to carnivores in front of a large crowd of adults and children.

The zoo had many offers to save the animal which they rejected.

All this makes me hate zoos and animals in captivity; mind you, animals don't fare much better in the wild when they come in contact with people.
