In Kyoto you find the glory and splendor of Japan's old culture. It was the capital of the country and the centre of the nation's civilization for more than 10 centuries, from 794 to 1868.

Kyoto has about 270 Shinto shrines and 1,600 Buddhist temples.

Landscape gardens also constitute a part of the cultural heritage of Kyoto.
The city has almost 60 of the most beautiful gardens.

You may want to end your day in a local restaurant that serves native food

What a lovely post.
Thank you yoko.
It is also very appropriate for this time of the year when everything is in vibrant colour.

Please don't worry Gisele.

I don't think that anyone even remembers the image in question. Nobody will miss it.

I usually scan my own pictures or those of my family and friends to avoid any unpleasantness.

Let us keep sharing the beautiful things that we enjoy so that others can enjoy them as well.

Love,
yoko
