Here in Italy the chrysanthemums are considered almost exclusively flowers for the cemetery ... But they are too gorgeous to exclude them from our homes, I think.

Thank you for your reply and for your very beautiful images.

Here these flowers are not any more abundant in cemeteries than other varieties of flowers, although, we see them at this time of the year. We plant according to the seasons because the weather is so variable at different times of the year here, and Asters and Chrysanthemums do well until the snow arrives; they overflow the autumn gardens. We also see them in pots and windowboxes everywhere. I

We use them as cut flowers in the house as well because they stay fresh for a long time. There are many varieties growing wild in the forests and fields.

Enjoy the beautiful fall weather, and all the glowing flowers.

The autumn flowers are still vibrant in all the windowboxes. Even some of the planters in the gardens still look beautiful. Enjoy them while you can. They will soon be covered with snow.

It is this time of year again, and we have many colourful autumn flowers everywhere. Let us enjoy them while they last. There are even some butterflies still enjoying the flowers.

I am sad to say that summer is coming to an end.
We still have very beautiful warm weather here and many roses are blooming, and will do so for quite a while.
I cannot help but add the roses to the canvas of autumn flowers as well.

We also have fall Pansies. We plant them now and they will bloom until the snow, and come back again in the spring. Many gardens will be colourful with fall pansies.
