Eric Satie's "Gymnopedie" usually called #3, sometimes #1, anyway you might know it. There is some funny intro of mine in process experimental.

Arpeggiated 3rds of both IV M9 and I M9, melody with 6th...

Let's see if'n this works!

It seems to work!

I MADE IT PLAY IN THE BACKGROUND TOO! Did that work? Confused Yes CoolDance

Next test... The above file (that is now background sound) was EXPORT AS MIDI from Quicktime player on my Mac G3. The attached file below is SAVED AS from the same Quicktime player, I want to know if the TAGS that I included, Artist=Teo come through, maybe in Media Player, Quicktime Player or what have you - it would be nice to give credit back to the artist / creator now wouldn't it? Kiss

Yes, dear Teo, the music plays and it is lovely ... I am ready to dance the waltz (Walzer).

Thank you for this serene moment!

Hearing you playing the Walzer is quite amazing, there is that special touch ...

Love and joy.

Thank you Teo.
This is lovely. We have speakers now and I can hear the music.

Too bad the cats aren't here; they would love it.

Love,

Maybe it's good we don't hear his singing though... Ghost

Attached please find Scott Joplin waltz MIDI file (no, I didn't play this, like talented-Teo did RaisedBrows) called: Bink's Waltz

I liked your twistoflex of the Gymnopedie Teo. I think it is in fact the first one. If I told you I thought it was the third, I think I was mistaken.

That Joplin waltz is particularly cool. I love the two false cadences that lead to the ending measures.

Applause

This is lovely Teo.
I could stay here and listen to the melody all night; however, other things are calling. I will be back.

I wonder what it would sound like on a Japanese flute?

Love,
yoko

Heres some Mozart for piano which I have mutated for flute - actually for Pan Pipes because my midi shakuhachi was a little hokey. I tried to load Teo's mazurka on my editor, but I'm missing some hardware connections to get the flutes to record on an analog track.

Teo undoubtedly played the midi track himself. My mozart track is borrowed from the program. Teo's has the rubato measures written in because the human touch is part of writing the track.

At the size of an acceptable sample it is only possible to tease the audience, but that much can be a treat - n'est-ce pas?

This one is Johan Sebastian Bach's Prelude #21 in B Flat Major, from his book: "The Well Tempered Clavier." Clavier simply meaning keyboard, funny because I used to play Clavinet, and have many Clave techniques... cla clacla cla cla! ... sandy cla's? he he.. Nut Doggy Wave2

This prelude I play pages 1 & 2, page 3 takes it into some almost Indian place, I repeat the first phrase, then "go to the top" or DC=Da Capo without playing page 3. I'll have to set up a system to track and file all my MIDIs soon... yay! Joy! ENJOY! Yum Ren

Glad you are all enjoying the MIDI music show! Love2

I'm still trying to get these TAGS into the files, so that they show who made them! Juggle

I went here: http://www.artlythere.com/cgi-bin/forum/Blah.pl?m-1154280348/s-0/

then here: http://www.harmony-central.com/Software/Mac/midi.html

and got MIDI Kit 2.7.1, I think it has put these tags in correctly:
  1. Full Song Name
  2. Copyright
  3. Author

Let's see if that works hum? I still want Genre, Recorded Date, URL, Instruments??? but hey, we have a start at least! Doggy

Attached is WhatYouSync with some tags, do they work?

Walk softly but carry a BIG PEACE

WhatYouSynco.mid (7 KB, 293 downloads) A lot in the © tag, comes through?

MidiKit let me set FULL NAME, and COPYRIGHT - which is 256 characters, so I filled it with lots of indexable information. And, the copyright seems to show up in a few Windows music players.

Sharing my MIDI files has become a hot topic here:

Magle classical forums

But I'm still waiting to be able to cross-index the way I want to.

PEACE, of music, Teo Beethoven Beethoven
