Schmichael, the dog, was honored at the Purina Animal Hall of Fame for alerting his family to a fire in their barn and saving their lives within just 24 hours of joining the family.  |

What a good dog
The family was very lucky to have just gotten the doggy. I read in the paper that the fire had already reached the house and if it would not have been for the dog's frantic barking everyone would have been caught inside the burning building. Love Vicky  |
