Born without front legs to a junkyard dog around Christmas 2002, Faith the puppy was rejected and abused by her mother. She was rescued by Reuben Stringfellow, now an Army E-4 specialist, who had been asked to bury other puppies in the litter.

"Can we fix her?" Reuben Stringfellow, then 17, asked his mom. "No, but maybe we can help her," she said.

So Reuben turned Faith over to his mother, English Professor Jude Stringfellow. At first the family had to carry Faith to keep her off her chest and chin. But with peanut butter and practice, Faith learned to walk on her two hind legs.

Thank you for the post Sue.

I read this information a few weeks ago and I am happy that you have shared this with us.

It is quite amazing how well the dog does on two legs,
and I am very happy that the doggy is well cared for. Doggy

Love, Inda

This is quite an amazing story.

The abandoned doggy seems to be happy and doing well.
This may lead to other discoveries to help injured animals and maybe also people with various birth defects and injuries.

Thank you Teo for all the images.

Love,
yoko

I heard about this story on the news.
This is quite amazing how the doggy has adapted to walking on 2 legs. It is kind of the people to take care of her, since she was born handicapped and abandoned by her mother. Doggy
