Thank you for bringing back this thread Vicky.
Everything is blooming most recklessly; if it were voices instead of colors, there would be an unbelievable shrieking into the heart of the night. - Rainer Maria Rilke, Letters of Rainer Maria Rilke |

Dear Margherita, Thank you for this lovely picture of the blossom trees. Our trees here are not quite this far yet, but there are little things blooming on the ground. Soon the sun will awaken the blossoms on the trees.
Love, Inda ![]() |

Spring has finally arrived and I thought it might be nice to bring back this beautiful thread.
Love, Vicky And Spring arose on the garden fair, Like the Spirit of Love felt everywhere; And each flower and herb on Earth's dark breast rose from the dreams of its wintry rest. ~Percy Bysshe Shelley, "The Sensitive Plant" |

Pretty soon we will be able to have a wonderful walk like this.
This is the most beautiful season. It hasn't quite arrived yet, but soon. Enjoy every moment because it's presence is very brief. |

Thank you Sue for bringing back this thread.
It is still a bit cold here today, but my early spring flowers are blooming, and they will always be beautiful. This is my favourite season. Everything is delicate and fresh. A thing of beauty is a joy forever: It's loveliness increases; it will never Pass into nothingness. John Keats ![]() |

It is still a bit cold here, and I am dreaming of warm spring weather and all the beauty that it brings. Love, yoko Many things they bring to mind cherry blossoms. -Basho |

I am already seeing the beginning of this.
At the moment there are just the green leaves and the closed buds, but it is getting quite warm and it has been raining, all of which will soon give us a lot of colour. Love, Sue |

Thank you yoko and Sue for the lovely message and images.
Today it is really warm and my spring flowers have opened. ************************* Spring Quiet Christina Rossetti (1847) Gone were but the Winter, Come were but the Spring, I would go to a covert Where the birds sing. Where in the whitethom Singeth a thrush, And a robin sings In the holly-bush. Full of fresh scents Are the budding boughs Arching high over A cool green house: Full of sweet scents, And whispering air Which sayeth softly: “We spread no snare; “Here dwell in safety, Here dwell alone, With a clear stream And a mossy stone. “Here the sun shineth Most shadily; Here is heard an echo Of the far sea, Though far off it be.” ![]() |

How wonderful each thing is that I look at, but springtime goes away. -Kito (1740-1788) Thank you yoko for this lovely little poem that you posted on the Irises post. Sadly, spring does go away, all too soon. Love, Inda |

When I open the door in the morning, everything is fresh and covered with springtime dew.
Eleanor Farjean Morning Has Broken Morning has broken, like the first morning Blackbird has spoken, like the first bird Praise for the singing, praise for the morning Praise for the springing fresh from the word Sweet the rain's new fall, sunlit from heaven Like the first dewfall, on the first grass Praise for the sweetness of the wet garden Sprung in completeness where his feet pass Mine is the sunlight, mine is the morning Born of the one light, Eden saw play Praise with elation, praise every morning God's recreation of the new day |
