I am happy to be able to get to the country this weekend and enjoy some autumn colors.

Sadly enough, it is also time to close my cottage for the coming winter. I will be missing all my little animal friends, but give thanks that they will be there to welcome me next spring.

Dear Inda, may you enjoy a beautiful "last" weekend at your cottage, before the Winter season. But I do hope you go there too sometimes during Winter as I have those romantic visions of "snow-buried" gardens and the cheminée with the logs burning .... ohhh

I will say a prayer of gratitude for my Mother, as her Birthday was October 11th ... she will celebrate in Heaven surely.

I will my heart to open true,
To everyone as known and who,
Will light by warmth that inner glow,
Resound,then calm past every blow.
And as this moment laps my mind,
Each soul here present,love is kind,
True, as I think and see my face,
Blends into one, we hold the space.
It's up to me to fill this time,
Each set of eyes is friends in rhyme,
