Thanks Sue.

I would love to go, but I need to look after LeeAnne and I have nobody that can look after her at the moment.
I understand that he is a real piano wizard.

Love,
Vicky 2Hearts

I was lucky enough to see Lang Lang last year. I also read his book. I think that he is a wonderful pianist. I wish that I could come to Toronto, but at the moment my schedule does not permit it.

Love,
yoko

Thank you for your replies.

Lang lang is not only a great pianist, but he works with children to try and get them to appreciate music. He is at the moment working with 101 children at our concert hall here in Toronto. He is a very dedicated human being, trying to make the world a more beautiful place.

In 2004 Lang Lang was appointed International Goodwill Ambassador to the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). He has contributed and worked to raise funds and awareness for earthquake relief efforts in China and Haiti. As Chairman of the Montblanc de la Culture Arts Patronage Award Project, Lang Lang celebratesanother aspect of arts commitment. He also currently serves on the Weil Music Institute Advisory Commitee as part of Carnegie Hall's educational program and is the youngest member of Carnegie Hall's Artistic Advisory Board. He has been added as one of the 250 Young Global Leaders picked by the World Economic Forum and received the 2010 Crystal Aword in Davos. In May 2011 lang Lang received the Honorary doctorate of Music from His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales at the Royal College of Music.

This information is from the Toronto Symphony Orchestra's programme.

Thank you for the information on Lang Lang.
Sadly I can no longer go to concerts, but I have seen him on TV. He plays beautifully.
