Thank you for the post.

Most walkers aren't walking far enough, often enough or fast enough to get the full health benefits, according the Center for Disease Control.

Dear Inda, thank you for this reminder! I tend to be nervous when I don’t find a parking place NEAR the office, or better even in the garage, in the morning, but I should actually rejoice if this “inconvenience” gives me the chance to walk. (In the morning I love to walk, it’s in the evening when the streets are lonely that it is cautious not to walk alone).
But with the week-end at the door, your post is an invitation to go to the Park at least!

Thank you, and now it is lunch-time and I WALK to my car to bring it nearer, ten minutes … better than nothing.

Thank you for all the precious information.
Love, Margherita Smile

I love her shoes btw. just my style ... but not to walk for long!

Would you believe that I think of Inda's reminder, when I come home in the evening ... tempted to take the elevator ... I decide to take the stairs. And it is funny, I don't like to walk up slowly I love to run upstairs, well yes of course I arrive out of breath!
How many floors? Secret!

Thank you Vicky, I need to start walking.

I love the dogs Sandy. They are just lovely, but at the moment I think I will keep up with the sheep, and like you, enjoy peoples' gardens.

Thank you everyone for contributing to this old post.
We really should all be walking, especially now that everything will be in bloom.

Sue, you should not walk as fast as this sheep,
but more like this:

I hope that we no longer have to walk through the snow RaisedBrows

In some parts of the world it is nice weathrt all the time and one can walk easily all year round

But in this part of Canada fall colours are almost here, so there are some very beautiful walks to be taken.

Hello everyone,

I missed this post. Thank you all for your advice.
Walking is the best form of exercise. It is less traumatic on your knee and ankle joints than running.
Walk as much as you can.

Love,
yoko
