The soul tide

There...
Within this infinite space
Where
Springs love and grace
Light has beckoned me.

This tide of the soul
Although sweet and heavenly
Is nothing short of bold
As it washes me completely.

I find myself swimming
From ocean to ocean
From mind to heart
I find myself crying
Filled with feelings
Of hot summer days
When rises lightning
In the heart of a storm

So many emotion
In motion...

From the abyss
Of my own being
The sense of urgency
Yet I know not
Of its meaning

I feel something within
Wishing to fight
This strong tide
As if letting go
Would mean drowning
And a certain death;
Meanwhile
The deep knowing
That this path of resistance
Is nothing but
The very source
Of all suffering
Of my broken heart
And crippled body.

The tide keeps pushing me...
The soul won't sit still
For it has come to far
To simply remain
Silent and contained.

And I cry
Through the rain:
"Please Love help me".

I ask you, love
To hold me once more
In our spiritual embrace
For I know the answer to my call
I know I must follow through
Go where the tide takes me,
And, trust and float
As become clearer
The vision of my journey.
