Autumn glances


Dressed in sunset hues
every single leaf dances
to the westerly wind blues,
not remotely shaken
by the deadly implications
of this warm requiem,
performed with equal joy
and participation
as if it was all about
celebrating birth.

And maybe it is ...

The sun plays along,
dipping every leaf
in its golden light
gifting it with
its own sacred moment
of transfiguration.

And I am part of it ...

Autumn glances
from the humming tree
pierce my heart,
while the leaves whisper
“let go and weave
your mourning heart beats
into the choreography
of our graceful leaving”.

And breathing in rhythm
to nature’s tune of wisdom
I let go and surrender

sharing the spirit of perfect harmony
permeating all the seasons of life ...
and reaching deep into eternity
