AN ANGEL BY MY SIDE



I have an angel that’s by my side
on my shoulder she will ride
watching out for me night and day
chasing those demons far far away

A haze of white and wondrous light
A sparkling that shines so bright
a calm descends upon my heart and soul
moving through me, by body whole

Have you seen your angel near?
waiting to take away your fear
a beautiful vision descends in the night
then satin wings, with ease take flight

Always there to hold your hand
beautiful curly locks, the colour of sand
a guardian to care and watch over you
to help and oversee all that you do

So next time you’re feeling alone and blue
remember my poem and what it’s telling you
we all have our own angel by our side
who wishes to help us through and be our guide.
