I will not make a sound

How glorious our journey
through the meadows of time!
How graceful our dance
through the seasons of life!
How deep our bond rooted
in the space of beyond!

When my wings
will require to slow down
and I will be standing
at the edge of the abyss
beckoning with its promise
of sweet oblivion,
I will effortlessly slip
through the gates
leading into
that secret garden
you tended with care
since forever
with the fragrance
of your love.

I will not make a sound
when I will fold my wings
and take the leap,
for I trust universe
and your soul
to soar with me
through the dark of night,
to wrap me
in their reviving
particles of light.

And before long,
in the hush of eternity,
we shall remember
our song
... our very own,
inimitable song.

No, I will not make a sound ...
but I will find the sweet echoes
of our unique journey
across the meadows of time
and forever I will be aware
of the gift of you ...
...of you,
my incomparable you ...
