Perhaps this could be
enough...

To feed only of ourselves in a
holy feast of pleasure.

Or this...

To be filled in a soulful kiss of
met desire.

This...

To fast in the distance of a touch...whetting our
hunger in a slow burn towards each
other.

Yes...this.

This would be enough.

Not Good Enough

I awoke to my the chores complete
and failed by their standards...
I cut the grass and raked the lawn
and felt the chagrin of another...
I finished my days labours on time
and felt the cutting tongue of the owner...
I bought a present for a friend
and ducked from the eyebrow of distain...
I wrote a poem from my well of feelings
and touched me.
