I shiver slightly and I wonder ...
I am alone, embraced by silence.

Still I know I have been touched
by something as impalpable as butterfly wings.

I am on the edge of tears
pushed forth by my heart’s emotion.

This presence in me expands and lifts me up
to where the sun shines over the misty sea
of the polluted earthly dimension.

My heart surrenders to the light.
A glimpse of truth flashes through my mind
in the act of total fusion.

I have been touched by Love.

And forevermore I shall remember
its manifestation ... on butterfly wings,
still so sublimely powerful!

This moment of love.
