At times we resemble placid waters
waiting wearily for the caress
of a cheerful breeze to stir us
from slumberous tepidness.

Do you remember the eagerness
shining in the eyes of children
when they explore this world?

for us to be seen, known and shared
yet we walk with our eyes shut

Our divine origin and source

for accelerated heartbeats
and unrestrained excitement.

Life’s colors unfold daily
to delight our hearts
and to lift us out of sorrow
whenever we feel cold.

Let Joy flow freely through you,
dip your soul into Love’s essence
and raise your voice to heaven
in a passionate song of praise.

Express joy … skip across the lawn!
Reach far …. reach for the stars,
your every breath holds the world
in eternal connection to God!
