Immensity calls


Solitude tricks me
into the illusion
of extreme fragility
and I shrink
to a defenseless dimension,
totally unconscious
of my true self,
forgetting who I am.

Stars twinkle
and shine bright
baring my invisible skin
to the reaching night.
In the precious safety
of this nocturnal majesty
I listen to immensity
calling me by my name.

It’s your sweet voice
I hear crystal clear.
You sing to me softly
through sacred silence.
I follow your invitation
and I lift my head
feeling your strength
flowing through my bones
helping me so tenderly
to stretch and to expand
back into my real height.

As One we open up
to the infinite Universe,
cloaking ourselves
in its huge blue blanket
sparkling like diamonds.
All the heavy weight
of painful solitude
recedes in deference
to the laws of love.

Truth unfolds before
our searching eyes.
Together we absorb
the message conveyed
in a holy manifestation
of the eternal realms,
carved indelibly
and in brightest colors
on the canvas of our souls.

Perception of separateness
is a mere illusion.
Love is the ultimate truth.
You pointed to the stars
and revelation dawned
deep within my heart.
Divine Oneness
is our authentic reality.
To know without any doubt
that we are One, you and me,
we just need to listen
to the Call of Immensity.
