Traveler's thoughts

A long trip I took
Along the world of myself
Thinking that the paths traveled
Were altogether
A different entity,
Founding so many, harsh and bumpy.

Curses on my very lips
And tears rolling
I made a point to lay still.

I wondered why life
Would draw such difficult roads
And unclear ways
On the canvas of the many.

Each instant spent pondering
Was, to my surprise
Bringer of answers
Not dreamed imaginable

Even in my "non-action"
Everything was moving
The bumps would not dispear
Nor the harshness evaporate

Then I understood ...
The paths were as I would feel them
Create them and traveled them.
I was the bumps and the cracks
I was all the roads I ever been on...
