I love how in spanish, the way to say "good-bye" is the words "With God." In french adeau, are they single where spanish are with plural Gods? he he..

Like the word "holiday" is not at all like HOLY DAY, it seems our words for leaving our friends only makes sense like at the end of the world business show where the nice old guy says "Wishing you the best of good byes," and we know full well he is talking about profitable purchases.

"So long," and "see you later" aren't anything like the "travel with creator" or I suppose ADIOS could also be translated: GODSPEED which is a nice wish for someone, especially if they need speeding up, he he..

Wishing you ever go with your heavenly spirit. May all your travels be in the company of the highest. May you always feel and know the presence. May you go with God.

Thank you dear Teo for this message. Yes, we are not always aware of how beautiful the traditional greeting formulas are.

In German we have "Gruess Gott", in Swiss German it becomes "Gruezi", but the root is "Gruess Gott" and it means "Greeting God!". So whenever we meet somebody we express this wonderful truth of greeting God in the other!
Like NAMASTE.

We also use the French version of Adios "Adieu" "Ade" all having the same meaning. In Italy too we use "Addio".

May we all be more aware of the deep precious meaning of these words.
