I have not been on in quite a bit. I miss you.
Can I please ask for your prayers for my nephew, Phil, just 21, who was deployed to Iraq on Saturday.
I have never been a supporter of war. The destruction, the killings, the ruining of families. But I support Phil
I feel it now from the other side of actually having a loved one involved. It is heartbreaking. I cannot find the words to describe the feelings. Would you also Please pray for my sister, Linda, brother in law Phil his parents, niece's Angie and Jenny, his sisters. Let us all pray for a world of love and peace,

I pray for your sister to fully trust that her son will not be involved in any tough mission and that he will come back home to her as soon as possible. The experience in itself will be tremendous for this young man, no one can be really indifferent to the consequences of war. Some might say there is no war, but we know how dramatic the situation is in Iraq!
May the world leaders find the courage to work concretely for PEACE, instead of only defending their own interests.

My Margherita,
Phil does have the St. Pio medal that I gave to him hanging along side of his dog tags. My family has the St. Pio candles which we light everyday.

Dear Sandy,

Hopefully some day we will see world peace. There has always been a war somewhere in the world, and many of us are getting really somewhat depressed by it all. I think that the animals are basically a lot kinder.

Thank you Inda and Teo for your prayers. I put in a link to this page so I won't have to copy the prayers. I believe that Phil is leaving for Iraq today. He has been stationed in Kuwait for the past week as an adjustment period. He says it's really hot there. If I'm lucky I can catch Phil online, although my buddy list doesn't always work properly.
