I have a very special favor to ask. I saw one of my Waffle House cancer buddies tonight. He hasn't been in there lately. I knew from one of the women that work there that he hadn't been feeling well. J.D. has been one of my strongest supporters through all this. He's the one that helped me be able to laugh at the memory loss and mood swings. He has an unusual form of cancer. His body doesn't rid itself of old white blood cells. I think that they even have to bleed him periodically to get rid of the buildup. I would have been upset about him feeling bad before this, but now it feels like it is happening to my brother. His face looked ashy tonight and he seemed so fragile. Please remember him in your prayers

Thank you everyone! I haven't seen him lately, but we may have just been missing him. And if he has to go to the VA hospital, he may be out of touch for a few days. One of the waitresses at WF usually knows what is going on with him, but she is off work until Sunday.

Thank you all so very much for your prayers. They still haven't done anything for him, but he has been getting out a little more. I don't think he is really feeling well, but he gets so darn stir-crazy! I'm hoping he gets some relief soon. I think he had another doctor's appointment scheduled this week. Maybe we will see him this weekend and hear some good news.
