Money seems to be one of those never-ending treadmills. Affluence, wealth, being "rich," all of these ideas are overloaded with wanting a big bank account.. sure this.. is admirable.. but how about someone..

Who gives all they have to those who even need it more, and continues joyfully to help others have more and more? This person will surely benifit because others will help them when they need.. and there won't be jealousy and coveting..

If you could have all your family, associates, society, have all they need, no crime, no need, everyone having all they need and want, won't this be soooo much safer and healthier? It totally is possible. Wealth doesn't require that some have poverty. No it doesn't. We can easily ALL have 10-100-1000 times what we currently own monitarily. The point is to make having more be more healthy and safe.

The more prosperous people in the world, the more prosperous we all are! Wish success on others, this will make it available to you too. Truly. Help others make money, you are surely due whatever you wish.

Wealth is: giving others all you can, and others giving it back to you. This is true wealth. Do good for others, it totally will come back to you, just don't worry or think about the return, just set the karma in motion: help others, it WILL come back to you manyfold. Help those around you be richer, wealthier, happier, it will come back in such wonderful ways!

Peace, prosperity, love, joy and laughter to all, Teo Wink

May you find yourself in the world, and may you enjoy the company.

Dear Teo,

thank you for the wisdom of your words.

Often we get carried away with a false sense of security, looking for more and more material things, and all sorts of unnecessary toys that we really do not need, in order to fill a void in our lives.

May we appreciate the life that we have been given, and may we appreciate the beauty of the present moment. Let us be grateful for our good health if we are fortunate to have it. There are many who would give all their material possessions to be physically able and well.

There is always someone who has less than we have, so let us share what we are able to with others. This may be a gift of money,no matter how small, many small coins add up ;clothing, food , a cup of hot coffee, or a kind word and a smile. Just by speaking to a homeless person will lift their spirits and give them some dignity.

Let us send out positive intentions, because what we send out always comes back to us.

Sending out ++++++lovebeams to all beings.

Thank you Teo and Inda,
Turning to nature in this one I see abundance
everywhere. God takes care of the lilies of
the fields -- a self-sustaining system. He/She
created everything and on the 7th day said it
was Good. Its a done deal, ready and waiting.
Blessings abound! Fullness of joy!

Dear Teo,
Today, just by chance, I came across a Native American wisdom which is the perfect answer to your post:

We do not want riches,
we want peace and love.

Thanks Teo.

I had completely missed this post.
Happiness does not depend on having piles of money. Some of the wealthiest people I know are the most miserable ones.

I do believe in sharing what we can afford, and it does not always have to be money.

Thank you.

Let us hope people stop being greedy and take care of the less fortunate ones. There is no need for anyone to be homeless and some have much more than they need.

This is the one thread that caught my eye.

In addition to the astute observation that less is more, should we not look to a workable model like the Canadian, and European approaches to health care etcetera, as opposed to the corrupted system we have here in the States where the wealthy legitimatize their holdings by default, and call it generosity to condescend to work us into the plan as indentured servants?

It is not merely a matter of hoping that the fortunate will help out the unfortunate which they tend not to - but to create a model that allows everyone to be fortunate. We still have a broad dichotomy.

I may sound like I'm embracing socialism. I am.

But then we must address the issue of how historically there have been nothing but bloody revolutions to force equality. You can't force equality. The ruling classes won't allow it nor should they. You also can't expect the masses to suddenly develop good taste or to stop shopping at Wall Mart or signing up as Marine Reserves.

Indeed, you cannot take it with you, and as Teo suggested, to simplify our demands is the start of things.

Mark Twain put it very well. He said it's more of an accomplishment to get a rich person to give you a quarter, than to get full support from a peer. He was right when he said it, TopHat and it holds true now.

Speaking as a rich man with the multitudes begging from me, I can understand why. (Hee hee).

Inside the Great Mystery that is,
we don't really own anything.
What is this competition we feel then,
before we go, one at a time, through the same gate?
